The Karnataka Government on August 18, 2026, has revised the testing/examination fees for issuance of vehicle air pollution control certificates at approved Air Pollution Control Centres, considering increased costs of fuel, raw materials, electricity, consumables, rent, internet and equipment maintenance, printer cartridges, and employee wages.
The revised rates are ₹65 for two-wheelers, ₹75 for three-wheelers, ₹115 for four-wheelers/trolley/LPG/CNG-powered vehicles, and ₹160 for all models of diesel-powered vehicles. The revised fees will apply to testing and issuance of air pollution control certificates in the State.
Compliance Impact: Approved Air Pollution Control Centres should collect the revised testing fees for the respective vehicle categories and update their fee schedules accordingly.
